Herman Aguinis of GWSB Achieves High Ranking among Business and Management Researchers

The ranking was based on the number of publications and respective citation values of researchers within the business and management discipline.

Herman Aguinis, Avram Tucker Distinguished Scholar and professor of management at GW Business, was ranked 38th in the United States and 68th in the world in an examination of more than 7,819 business and management research profiles conducted by Research.com, and the recipient of a Research.com Business and Management in United States Leader Award for 2023.

The ranking was based on the number of publications and respective citation values of researchers within the business and management discipline, garnered from large-scale bibliometric data sources, as well as the number of awards and achievements earned by each researcher. 

Three additional GW Business faculty members were ranked: Elias G. Carayannis, professor of information systems and technology management and director of the European Union Research Center; Donna L. Hoffman, Louis Rosenfeld Distinguished Scholar and professor of marketing and co-director of the Center for the Connected Consumer; and Young Hoon Kwak, associate professor of decision sciences. Additional GW faculty included on the list are Sanjay K. Pandey, Shapiro Professor of Public Policy and Public Administration at the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, and Nicholas Vonortas, professor of economics and international affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs.
