George Washington University alumni, students, parents and friends hoping to snag tickets to see Colonials Weekend headliner Jon Stewart, rejoice!
Ticket sales for Mr. Stewart’s Oct. 17 performances resume Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m., EDT.
Visit http://students.gwu.edu/jonstewart to purchase tickets. They cannot be purchased over the phone.
More than 7,000 tickets remain at all prices for the 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows at the Charles E. Smith Center. Prices range from $50 to $99.
“We thank the GW community for their patience,” said Vice Provost and Dean of Student Affairs Peter Konwerski. “I am grateful to staff members from across the university who worked together to resolve the ticketing issue. We look forward to tickets being back on sale next week.”
Initial ticket sales were discontinued following technical difficulties earlier this month. Those who successfully purchased tickets during initial sales received a confirmation email from GW Ticketing. If you did not receive a confirmation email then you do not have tickets.
All previous purchases will be honored and reserved seating will remain the same. GW Ticketing will email those who purchased tickets during initial sales. Replacement tickets will be issued via email.
Tickets are non-refundable.
