Charles Steinberg, executive vice president of business affairs for the Boston Red Sox, was on campus Tuesday night, speaking to a sport management class at Duques Hall.

Dr. Steinberg, senior advisor to Red Sox President Larry Lucchino, is a former special assistant to retiring Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig. His lecture was held during a session of Teaching Assistant Professor of Management Mark Hyman’s sports and event business management course and drew a crowd of onlookers that included the GW baseball team.
