The George Washington University community gathered to celebrate spring at the Mount Vernon campus (MVC) Saturday as students enjoyed food and games, took in an art display by a Mount Vernon resident and spent time relaxing with their peers before the end of the academic year. The fountain on the MVC Quad also bubbled to life for the first time this year, an unofficial marker of spring at GW.
Additionally, Saturday saw the opening of the Stitch Studio, a new maker space at MVC where students can learn a variety of skills like knitting and sewing.
GW Senior Photographer William Atkins captured photos.
