Proud to be GW returned as an in-person event last week with free lunch, music and lawn games at both the Foggy Bottom campus on Wednesday and the Virginia Science and Technology Campus on Thursday.

The university implemented safety protocols such as masking and safe social distancing when appropriate at both locations.

The employee appreciation events are held to recognize the contributions of GW faculty and staff to express gratitude for their service to the university. This year’s festivities served as a way to acknowledge accomplishments over the past year and a half. President Thomas LeBlanc attended both events.
