The George Washington University community came out on Friday to celebrate diversity and inclusion at the Multicultural Student Services Center’s (MSSC) block party.

The annual celebration and showcase, held in University Yard, aims to help students who are new to the GW community feel welcomed, connected and have a strong sense of belonging at the university.

The MSSC block party was held as part of the first “Org Fair Friday,” a weekly event through September where students can get to know hundreds of student organizations. In partnership with the Division for Student Affairs and the Office of Student Life, this year’s event brought together more than 100 multicultural and ally student organizations and select departments across the university.
