The George Washington University Board of Trustees is soliciting applications for candidates for its recent alumni trustee position. The seat is open to alumni (bachelors, masters and doctoral degree recipients) who graduated from GW after Jan 1, 2015.
The seat is for one four-year term that begins June 1, 2020, and ends May 31, 2024.
Ideal candidates for the position of recent alumni trustee should have shown a commitment to GW and its alumni through active involvement. Ideal candidates also should have distinguished themselves through volunteer or professional activities, which may include their time as students at GW.
Applications must be received on or before 11:59 p.m. PST on Oct. 7, 2019.
Trustee Gabbi Baker, B.B.A. ‘13, who will be completing her term as the recent alumni trustee in 2020, will host virtual information sessions this week. More information about the sessions and the application process, including methods to submit applications, can be found on the trustees’ website.
