The official website for the George Washington University’s Presidential Inauguration 2017 is up and running, offering a range of information to the GW community about the November events when Thomas LeBlanc will be inaugurated as GW’s 17th president.

The website lists the schedule of inauguration events that start Nov. 12 with the student brunch on the Mount Vernon Campus and end Nov. 14 with a faculty open house at the F Street House with Dr. LeBlanc and his wife, Anne. The inaugural ceremony will be 10 to 11: 30 a.m. at the Charles E. Smith Center Nov. 13 and a celebration will follow from noon to 3 p.m. at Science and Engineering Hall.

The website, inauguration.gwu.edu, includes travel information for guests coming from out of town about hotels with special rates and parking information for those driving to the events which will be on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses and at the Library of Congress.

The site includes frequently asked questions about inauguration from the start times for events to appropriate dress and how to watch a live stream of the inauguration ceremony.

The website also has a contact form for questions that are not included in the FAQs.

“We want to make the website a one-stop place for the university community about all things related to the inauguration,” said Jon Hussey, managing director of digital marketing strategy at GW. “We will continue to add information to the pages up to inauguration.”
