The Young Turks on Fusion”—the weekly, hourlong election-focused show from TYT Network and FUSION—will broadcast in front of a live audience from GW’s Jack Morton Auditorium on Monday night, covering issues ranging from political participation and activism in this year’s election to the influence of lobbying.

Students and other GW community members can still register for standby tickets for free. Organizers anticipate a number of those on the standby list have a good chance of being admitted. Standby ticket holders must be at Jack Morton Auditorium by 7 p.m. to be eligible for entry. All those admitted must be seated by 7:30 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Hosts Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola of “The Young Turks on Fusion” will be joined by FUSION host Nando Vila. Neera Tanden, president and CEO of the Center for American Progress and the Center for American Progress Action Fund, as well as GW Student Association President Erika Feinman, also will appear on the show.

The episode will air on FUSION’s cable channel and digital properties, including Facebook and YouTube.

Representatives from The Young Turks Politics have been on campus conducting interviews with students leading up to their live show. And GW is a particularly apt host, as the Princeton Review recently recognized the university as having the “most politically active students” in the nation for the fourth year in a row.

“The Young Turks on Fusion” premiered on Sept. 12 live from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in Los Angeles.

The show aims to discuss the most important issues facing young people this election season. From in-depth discussions on education reform and international terrorism, to man-on-the-street Q&As and game show segments, the show is engaging college students and viewers nationwide leading up to the presidential election.

After Monday’s show, “The Young Turks on Fusion” will continue its tour at 10 more locations across the country.
