Jonathan S. Reiner, director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at the GW Hospital and professor of medicine at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and former Vice President Richard Cheney will appear on CBS’s 60 Minutes this Sunday.
They will be interviewed by Sanjay Gupta on their new book, “Heart: An American Medical Odyssey,” which tells the story of Mr. Cheney's 35-year battle with heart disease, providing insight into the medical breakthroughs that have changed cardiac care over the last four decades. The book will be released Oct. 22.
