The university will hold a forum tonight in the Jack Morton Auditorium to provide information on safety and security on campus and answer audience questions. All GW community members are welcome.

“We really want this to be an interactive discussion, not only where we can talk about the roles and responsibilities of my office but also where our community can ask questions and give their feedback directly to us,” said Darrell Darnell, senior associate vice president for safety and security.

The forum will begin with a brief presentation by Mr. Darnell, who will discuss the mission and structure of his office and safety and security on campus.

A panel with GW Police Chief Kevin Hay; George Nunez, director of the Office of Emergency Management; William Flint, director of the Office of Health and Safety; and Dean of Students Peter Konwerski will answer questions from GW community members.

The forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. GW community members can submit questions online and watch the livestream.
