Th University Counseling Center will have an ongoing presence at the Mount Vernon Campus.

In an effort to provide improved access to services for students, the George Washington University has decided to establish an ongoing presence for the University Counseling Center on the Mount Vernon Campus.

In the coming months, the university will be evaluating the Mount Vernon Campus to determine the level of service and the location that is best suited for the GW community, with details to be announced before students return to campus this fall.

The UCC has provided on site counseling services on the Mount Vernon Campus since the first week of April and will continue to do so through the end of the semester.

The UCC, located in Suite 330 at 2033 K St., will continue to offer walk-in hours and schedule appointments during normal business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 202-994-5300. More information on services and resources is available on the UCC website.

President Steven Knapp recently announced that the UCC would move to a new, central location on the ground floor of the Marvin Center on the Foggy Bottom Campus.
