George Washington University School of Business Professor Emeritus of Management, Technology and Innovation Bill Halal recently released his eighth book, “One World?: The Digital Revolution and the Rise of Global Consciousness.” The book explores how a global consciousness is emerging through the Digital Revolution and reached best seller status on Amazon for Globalization.
At GW, Halal introduced courses in strategic planning and emerging technologies and co-founded the Institute for Knowledge & Innovation, a collaboration between GW Business and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. In 2025, Halal and his wife, Carol Lynn, made a six-figure gift to establish the William Halal Research Fund at GW Business.
