Lunar New Year is celebrated in a variety of ways by cultures throughout the Asian diaspora: as a 15-day celebration also known as the Spring Festival or Chūnjié in China, as Seollal in Korea and as Tết in Vietnam (where 2023 is the year of the cat, not the more popular rabbit).
