Springtime rain didn’t stop George Washington University students from enjoying the annual Mount Vernon Campus’ Fountain Day. The signature event typically celebrates spring by turning on the fountain in the Campus Quad while bringing students together to celebrate their accomplishments during the academic year.

Switching gears to an indoor celebration, GW students still enjoyed a tailgate lunch with food fresh from the grill, a Fountain Kick-Back with giant versions of rainy-day games like Jenga, Connect 4 and checkers, a chance to make a succulent terrarium, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream and a community canvas painting. GW Campus Recreation held an evening yoga class, and there was also a screening of the season eight premiere of Game of Thrones in Post Hall that night.
