The George Washington University community filled University Yard Friday, celebrating diversity and inclusion at the Multicultural Student Services Center’s (MSSC) block party.

The annual celebration and showcase aims to help students who are new to the GW community feel welcomed and connected to the university.

The MSSC block party was held as part of the year's first “Org Fair Friday,” a weekly event through September where students can get to know hundreds of student organizations, and is also part of GW's Weeks of Welcome. In partnership with the Division for Student Affairs and the Office of Student Life, the event brought together more than 100 multicultural and ally student organizations and select departments across the university.
