The Final Lap gave George Washington University students a chance to de-stress from studying for finals with a series of events in December. The gatherings also gave students a chance to build community with one another, an especially welcomed opportunity after a virtual academic year in 2020-2021.

Dec. 9’s Midnight Breakfast was the marquee event, as students flocked to the University Student Center for a late-night session of food, movies and games.  All in all, The Final Lap offered students 12 events to attend, with a few still to come Dec. 13 through Dec. 15.

GW Today photographed Dec. 6’s Art Therapy Event at the District House, Dec. 7’s Vern Lights display at the Mount Vernon campus, Dec. 8’s massage chair sessions at the District House and Midnight Breakfast.
