The George Washington University Pakistani Students Association (PSA) celebrated its annual mock traditional Pakistani wedding, Mock Shaadi, on Nov. 14. The PSA E-board entered the room with a baraat, a celebratory procession of the groom's side into the venue. The night followed with dances from the GW South Asian Society, GW Indian Students’ Association, GW Sikh Students’ Association, GW Chamak, GW Garmi, GW Raas and GW Bhangra. Traditional Pakistani food was catered for dinner. The night concluded with the PSA E-board showcasing their own dance performances and then opening up the floor for all attendees to join the dancing and music celebration of a mock wedding.
