Country music singer and songwriter Brett Young will bring his soulful vocals and impassioned lyrics to George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium on March 8.
With three independent albums under his belt, Mr. Young is currently supporting Luke Bryan on his latest tour and will be at GW in a solo show between tour stops. Some of Mr. Young’s hits include “Sleep Without You” and “In Case You Didn’t Know.” His new self-titled album was released on Feb. 10.
Tickets go on sale beginning Tuesday at noon and can be purchased online or through the Lisner box office, either by phone or in person. All tickets are general admission and $26.
The university is also offering a limited number of discounted tickets for $21 for students. The tickets are available only when buying in person at Lisner’s box office and presenting a valid GWorld card. Discounted tickets are also on sale beginning Tuesday at noon and will only be offered for a limited time.
Mr. Young’s style is derived from the self-discipline learned from years on the baseball field. A sentimental dreamer, Mr. Young has extensive songwriting credits; his music has appeared on shows like “Chrisley Knows Best,” MTV’s “Real World” and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.”
The show is co-presented with D.C. country music station WMZQ-FM.
