Weaving a Multi-Generational Tale
The George Washington University Department of Theatre and Dance recently staged a production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Clybourne Park on the main stage of the Marvin Center on the Foggy Bottom Campus. The taut, two-act drama takes place in the same Chicago house over time, yet its roots go deeper—touching on Lorraine Hansberry's iconic A Raisin in the Sun.
The next scheduled event for the TRDA is a joint production with the GW Department of Music of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music beginning March 31.
