The Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) Block Party, an annual George Washington University tradition of inviting students, faculty and staff to join together in celebration of community, culture and connection, was hosted in the University Student Center Friday, Sept. 18.
MSSC brought a wide variety of more than 120 multicultural and ally student organizations to table during the event. Both new and returning students had opportunities to learn about organizations they can participate in, explore the MSSC and build a sense of belonging with their peers.
The celebration is annually held at the beginning of the academic year to help all community members find their “home away from home” at GW.
