GW Deputy General Counsel Richard Weitzner was recently named by the National Association of College and University Attorney this year as a recipient of its Distinguished Service Award.
This award "honors individuals for 'extraordinary service' to the association and to higher education law. It is one of the highest honors conferred by NACUA, recognizing long-term dedication, outstanding contributions to the profession and advancement of the association's mission."
NACUA presented Weitzner with the award at its annual conference held June 29-July 2.
