Seventeen George Washington University online degree programs ranked high among U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Online Programs, with the university’s online bachelor’s degree taking 20th best for veterans and 29th best overall. The full list was released Tuesday.
The School of Nursing's online graduate programs also performed well, ranking third in graduate nursing/nurse practitioner programs and fifth for graduate nursing programs for veterans. It also placed 10th among graduate nursing administration and leadership programs.
The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences’s online graduate programs bettered their consistently high position, rising to fifth-best overall and sixth-best for veterans. In addition it placed sixth in both graduate engineering management programs and 10th among graduate industrial engineering programs.
Multiple online M.B.A. programs from the School of Business also ranked high, with the highest showing at 13th among business programs for veterans.
GW′s online offerings, which have consistently ranked well in previous years, were among more than 1,800 assessed by U.S. News.
