Andrea Dietz, an assistant professor at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design and director of graduate studies for exhibition design, co-authored, “The Organizer’s Guide to Architecture Education.”

The book, written by a team of eight educators, practitioners and organizers, urges transformation in architecture education to meet current pressing social and environmental challenges. Structured in three parts, it blends theory, personal narrative and practical strategies to offer a bold vision for change within the discipline.

Dietz is an architect, curator and writer whose work spans independent practice and collaborations with firms such as Bestor Architecture and Chu + Gooding Architects. She was a longtime associate of the School of Architecture at Woodbury University where she coordinated a multi-million-dollar federal grant, led graduate program curriculum development and delivered coursework in research methodologies and theory.
