Salmoncain Smith-Shomade, a rising senior at the George Washington University majoring in journalism and mass communication, traveled during the past spring semester as part of the Semester at Sea program. Smith-Shomade chose the expansive program over an immersive option, exploring 10 countries on three continents over 105 days.

“Fortunately,” he said, “I brought my camera along to chronicle my experiences. I’d like to share 10 images from my journey, starting with my entrance into the city of Bangkok, Thailand, to my departure from Bremen, Germany. It was truly one of the most transformative times of my life.”
