George Washington University alumna Tierney L. Cross, M.A. ’21, has been selected for the prestigious New York Times Fellowship.
Now in its seventh year, the fellowship program was launched in 2018 to support and train the next generation of journalists. Incoming fellows will spend a year working full-time in The Times newsroom, developing their skills alongside experienced reporters, editors and visual journalists. Cross is a freelance photojournalist who previously interned with The Hill. She earned her master’s degree in new media photojournalism from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design.
