The George Washington University on Friday launched a new website that provides information about the university’s finances in a centralized location, aiming to enhance understanding and awareness of GW’s financial performance and related key metrics.
“The website fulfills a commitment university leadership made to community members to provide greater financial transparency and clarity after hearing in recent months a desire to better understand university finances,” said Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Bruno Fernandes.
While the site is comprehensive, content may evolve as the university receives additional input from the community. There is a feedback form to collect any thoughts students, faculty, staff, or others may have.
“We have appreciated the engagement from members of our community, and we look forward to continuing discussions about the university’s finances and investments,” Fernandes said.
