Heather Davis, J.D. ’05, was named CEO of the National Women’s Soccer League’s Portland Timbers and Thorns. She is one of five women among Major League Soccer teams currently serving as president or CEO, according to a news release from the team.
As CEO, Davis will be in charge of all business and operational aspects of the Timbers and Thorns.
In an interview with KGW8-TV in Portland, Oregon, Davis said, "It is an extraordinary privilege to be entrusted to lead such a storied and successful franchise that means so much to so many in my home state."
