We are pleased to announce that a date and time have been confirmed to safely and properly celebrate the Classes of 2020 and 2021 in-person on the National Mall.
Please save the date of October 2, 2021, for a Commencement Celebration of the Classes of 2020 and 2021 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. EDT, and additional information about arrival times will be forthcoming. Graduates will be invited with up to four guests to join us for what will be a truly special event.
In the coming weeks, we will be providing additional information regarding Commencement, including event registration, which will be required. In addition to Commencement, there will be additional events taking place that weekend to celebrate the GW community and the university’s bicentennial. More information about those events will be forthcoming.
