The George Washington's new free clothing exchange store, The Loop, held its grand opening Friday at its location in Academic Building Room 122 on the Mount Vernon Campus.

All the inventory at The Loop is sourced from clothing donations from GW community members. Each year, the Office of Sustainability receives more than 25,000 pounds of clothing donations, which are largely passed on to charity community partners, including Bread for the City,  Love and Light and Green Drop. Members of the GW community can bring in clothing donations and exchange those old items for a brand new-to-you outfit. The store's official fall hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays. More regular hours could be added later in the semester.
