Kristen Mitchell

Kristen is a writer/editor for GW Today, where she covers the School of Engineering and Applied Science, School of Nursing, School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Milken Institute School of Public Health, sciences in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and Public Safety.

Kristen is a native of Dublin, Ohio, and comes to Washington, D.C., by way of Tampa, Florida, where she worked as a newspaper reporter. Kristen is an alumna of Ohio State University, where she studied public affairs journalism and criminal justice. She received her M.A. in Global Communication from GW in 2019.
