The World Cup kicked off on June 12 in Brazil, and George Washington University Colonials are celebrating all over the world.
The interactive map shows the university’s representation across the globe, from Argentina to Germany and Ghana. Click on the shaded countries to see how many students and alumni are in each country participating in the World Cup.
Students, alumni, parents and friends of the university can follow the tournament with GW on social media using the hashtag #GWWorldCup2014. Members of the university community are also encouraged to upload photos and videos in support of their favorite team.
