September 13, 2017

Members of the GW community can get their annual flu shot on campus at various clinics held in September and October.

For students:
Students can visit the Colonial Health Center on the ground floor of the Marvin Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 19 or District House B114 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 27. Flu shots are fully covered for students with the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan. For those without the student health plan, a $25 fee will be charged to their student account.

For faculty and staff:
Faculty and staff must register to receive a free flu shot at this year’s open enrollment fairs, which will take place on the Foggy Bottom Campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 17 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 25. Flu shots will be available at the open enrollment fair on the Virginia Science and Technology Campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 19. Locations and instructions for registering are available here. Staff and faculty must present their GW or other health insurance card at the time of the appointment. High-dose flu shots will not be available.
