Get your rainbows ready. June is Pride Month, and there are many ways for George Washington University community members to celebrate LGBTQIA+ life and history in Washington, D.C. Here are just a few.

June 7 at 9 p.m. RIOT! Official Capital Pride Opening Party
2135 Queens Chapel Rd., NE
$27 and up; must be 18

Local, national and world-famous queer performers, including RuPaul’s Drag Race star Sapphira Cristál, headline this dance extravaganza kicking off Capital pride.

June 8 at noon Capital Pride 17th Street Block Party
Dupont Circle

Enjoy art, performances, community and local food and drink specials while strolling D.C.’s historic Dupont Circle neighborhood at this annual favorite event.

June 8 at 3 p.m. GW PRIDE Stride at Capital Pride Parade 2024

Haul out your brightest 80s and 90s gear and sign up now to march with GW at D.C.’s capstone Pride event. Registrants also receive tickets to the parade afterparty.
