N. Sharon Hill, professor of management at the George Washington University School of Business, was awarded a 2023 Outstanding Editorial Review Board (ERB) Reviewer Award from the Organization Science journal. The award was given to Hill for her timely, rigorous and thoughtful assessment of handled manuscripts. Hill has served as a member of the editorial review board for Organization Science since 2020.
Hill’s primary research area is remote work, which involves work interactions using electronic rather than face-to-face communication between employees who are not in person. Within this research stream, she focuses on virtual collaboration, the role of leadership in virtual work success, gender equality in virtual settings and virtual worker well-being.
