Vontrese Pamphile, an associate professor of strategic management and public policy at the George Washington University School of Business, has been named one of Poet and Quants’ 2025 Best 40 Under 40 MBA Professors. The annual list celebrates rising stars in business education who demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching.
Pamphile’s work examines how organizations and professionals manage the tension between business demands and societal values. Her research explores topics like professional burnout, authenticity and employee responses. Pamphile’s work has appeared in leading academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science. Pamphile is a former nonprofit leader and AmeriCorps member. She is also an active mentor and advocate for inclusive scholarly communities.
