Jennifer Merluzzi, associate professor of strategic management and public policy at GW Business, is co-author of a paper that has been nominated for the 2023 “Responsible Research in Management” Award. Sponsored by the Academy of Management Fellows, the award recognizes research that is “rigorously conducted and societally beneficial” and whose findings have a broad impact.
The paper, which Merluzzi co-authored with Damon Phillips of Columbia University, is titled, “Are Single Women Promoted into Leadership Positions in Business? Evidence of Incongruity Penalties of Single Women with Masculine Talents.”
