The GW Troubadours, one of the George Washington University's student-led co-ed a cappella groups, performed holiday harmonies at the White House on Monday. The #OnlyatGW moment took on heightened significance when they were conferenced in to sing for White House staff on Air Force One.
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. @GWTroubadours caroling in The White House! #onlyatgw #WHHoliday

The performance was an honor for the 17 students who make up the vocal group, which has been in operation for more than 80 years. The GW Troubadours are an active force on and off campus, performing their diverse repertoire at a range of events including a Republican presidential primary debate, the university’s annual Acappella Palooza and “American Idol.”
Most recently, they lent their voices to the Bethesda Urban Partnership’s Winter Wonderland celebration, performed an environmentally conscious parody of "Accidentally in Love" for Planet Forward and released their eighth album, "Studio 226."
