Master of Arts in Environmental and Sustainability Policy (MA-ESP) student Amelia Lindsay-Kaufman has been selected as the inaugural recipient of the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) Graduate Fellowship. EESI is an independent nonprofit advancing science-based solutions for climate change, energy and environmental challenges.

The donor established the endowment in the spirit of EESI’s mission and vision for a sustainable, resilient and equitable world. Upon winning the award, Lindsay-Kaufman said to EESI that she is delighted to be the first recipient. "I believe that policy decisions made now and in the near future will be critically important for minimizing environmental devastation, and I am eager to contribute to this work,” Lindsay-Kaufman said.
