Angie Stanley, an associate professor at the George Washington University School of Nursing, has been recognized with two of the most prestigious honors in the nursing profession for her exceptional leadership and contributions to the field.
In June, Stanley was inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP), coinciding with the fellowship’s 25th anniversary celebration. The fellowship recognizes nurse practitioners who have demonstrated extraordinary professional achievement, leadership and commitment to advancing the profession.
Stanley has also been selected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). FAAN fellows are recognized for significant contributions to nursing and health care through leadership, research, policy and clinical excellence.
