Aram Gavoor, the associate dean for academic affairs at GW Law, was elected to serve a three-year term on the Governing Council of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Administrative Law & Regulatory Practice. The ABA Administrative Law Section is the “home for lawyers who work for, interact with or study government entities” that seeks to “further the vital public interest in effective, efficient and fair administration at all levels of government.”
Gavoor has taught Administrative Law for 10 years at GW Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in administrative law, technology law, national security and federal courts. His co-authored scholarship has been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court and has been published in numerous law journals. He has briefed and argued over a dozen high-profile public law cases before a majority of the U.S. Courts of Appeals.
