Heather Berry, professor of international business and international affairs in the Department of International Business, has been elected to the Academy of International Business, a prestigious, selective honor recognizing faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the international business profession and field.
Berry's research examines the scope and performance of multinational firms, according to her GW bio. Her research shows how interdependencies across firm resource allocation decisions in product and geographic markets impact firm investment, divestment and performance. Her papers have been published in top academic journals, including the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, the Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science and the Academy of Management Journal.
