Herman Aguinis, the Avram Tucker Distinguished Scholar and a professor of management at the George Washington University School of Business, has published his book, “Performance Management for Dummies.”
Aguinis’ book serves as a guide to infuse performance management with an organization's strategic goals and priorities. The text provides the nuts and bolts of how to define and measure performance in terms of what employees do and the outcome of what they do―both for individual employees as well as teams.
Aguinis’ interdisciplinary research addresses the global acquisition and deployment of talent in organizations and organizational research methods. He served as president of the Academy of Management (AOM) from 2021 to 2022 and has been inducted into The Ph.D. Project Hall of Fame.
