George Washington University alumna Courtney Granville, Ph.D.’08, has been appointed as the new chief scientific officer at GO2 for Lung Cancer. The organization works to improve health policies, lead public awareness and provide treatment information relating to lung cancer.
Granville was previously with the Drug Information Association where she served as vice president and head of science and scientific strategy. Before that, she was the executive director of the Pelotonia Prize. She also served as a research leader and senior research scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute.
