Carol Stock Kranowitz, M.A. ’95, authored “Out-of-Sync Success Stories: Thriving with Sensory Processing Differences,” the newest addition to her “Out-of-Sync” series. The book focuses on children, teens and adults with sensory processing differences whose unique sensitivities have helped make the world a better place.
Through real-life examples, including the story of a child whose musical talents connected him to his classmates and a young adult who built a career from her empathy for animals, the book illustrates how neurodiversity enriches communities. It aims to inspire individuals with sensory differences, as well as the families, teachers and professionals who support them.
