Greg Varner
Greg is a writer/editor for GW Today. His regular beats include GW Law, the Elliott School of International Affairs, the Graduate School of Political Management, the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design and the College of Professional Studies.
He is a native of northeastern Ohio, where he received his B.A. in writing at Oberlin College before earning a master’s degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Greg’s professional background includes four years as arts editor of The Washington Blade and nearly a dozen years as a writer and researcher helping the U.S. Postal Service develop stamps and related products. His byline has appeared in The Washington Post, Gay and Lesbian Review, Southern Humanities Review and several other publications.
