The George Washington University will continue its Grad2Grad Program for another year, offering a 10 percent tuition reduction to 2017 GW graduates who enroll in an eligible graduate program.
Students must meet admission standards for their chosen graduate degree or certificate and enroll in the graduate program by no later than spring 2018. Some programs have waived requirements for standardized tests, including the GMAT and GRE.
Most master’s and graduate certificate programs are eligible, including such popular programs as international affairs, media and strategic communications, accountancy and public administration.
“GW initiated the Grad2Grad Program to encourage our graduating seniors to stay on at GW for a graduate degree,” said Geri Rypkema, assistant provost in the Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships, which administers the program. “The financial incentive demonstrates that we highly value our recent alumni, and we want to keep them in the GW talent pool.”
This fall, 114 students were taking advantage of the program.
To be eligible for the discount, students must accept the admission offer and submit a completed Grad2Grad Fellowship enrollment form, provided on the graduate fellowship form website. The deadline for submission of the form is Jan. 17, 2017.
