Dozens of Alumni, Professors Named among Washingtonian’s Most Influential Policymakers

The magazine’s “500 Most Influential People Shaping Policy” list was published last week.

More than 40 George Washington University alumni, faculty members and honorary degree recipients made Washingtonian’s 2022 “Washington, D.C.’s 500 Most Influential People” list, also called “500 Most Influential People Shaping Policy.” The list was published last week.

“Change for a better world happens on many levels, so lists like this are one way of quantifying impact,” said Patty Carocci, associate vice president of alumni relations and annual giving. “The number of alumni and faculty on this list really illustrates what an accomplished and dedicated community we have here at GW.”
