Members of the Class of 2024 are invited to register themselves and their guests for Commencement Week events, including Commencement on the National Mall on Sunday, May 19, a treasured #OnlyatGW tradition. Registration instructions for students are available on the Commencement website.
This year, graduates have an opportunity to provide a phonetic spelling and recorded audio version of their name. A vocalist will use that information to dub an audio file of their name that will be played at their school celebration as they cross the stage. In order to make use of the recording feature, graduates must register by 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, April 22.
From April 23-26, members of the Class of 2024 may continue to register for Commencement, but they will not be able to record their name. Class of 2024 registration closes on Friday, April 26.
Members of the faculty are also invited to march in the academic procession at Commencement and participate in school and college Commencement Week events. Faculty should complete registration via this link by Friday, May 3. Registration instructions for faculty are available on the Commencement website.
