George Washington University’s Collaborative for Applied Studies in Jewish Education (CASJE) won the Ilia Salita Excellence in Research Award for the Career Trajectories of Jewish Educators Study. The award recognizes and highlights research projects that can impact Jewish life in a direct and positive way. Arielle Levites, CASJE's managing director and GSEHD research assistant professor, accepted the award on CASJE's behalf, which was presented at the 2023 Jewish Funders Network Conference.
CASJE, housed in GW's Graduate School of Education and Human Development, is an evolving community of researchers, practitioner and philanthropic leaders dedicated to improving the quality of knowledge that can be used to guide the work of Jewish Education.
